If things keeps going the way they have, I’m going to start calling the Tampa Bay Lightning the Colorado Avalanche East, as they’ve now added Chris Durno to their list of Colorado acquisitions. He joins Brett Clark and former Philadelphia Flyer Simon Gagné.

Adios Brett Clark
While the Colorado Avalanche may have not figured Brett Clark to have a place in their blossoming young team, at least one other General Manager thinks otherwise. The newly appointed Vice President and General Manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning was quick to snatch up such a catch.
Olympic Recap – Day 2

Better late than never I always say, so here it is: Day two of our Men’s Olympic Hockey Coverage. This was another exciting day of seeing who is bringing what to the tournament as well as basically ranking teams based on their performance (likely erroneous judgements at best).
Olympic Rosters – Part 1 *Updated*

The International Ice Hockey Federation has half of this year’s Olympic Hockey team rosters available to peruse online today, with another five being announced tomorrow. The Team USA roster won’t be released until January 1st, during the Winter Classic game. Things aren’t looking good for team USA at this point but hey, we had the Miracle on Ice remember?
USA Tops Switzerland 3-1

Despite a somewhat uncoordinated start, Team USA managed to beat Switzerland 3-1 in the opening game of the 2010 Olympic Men’s Hockey Tournament in Vancouver.
