Games 27 and 28 of the 2010 Winter Olympics wrapped up the majority of the tournament, determining who would go to the medal matches to keep fighting for their country’s pride and honor. The day went pretty much as expected, though the play was a bit surprising.

So Tuesday was filled with the first round of elimination games for the 2010 Winter Olympics Men’s Ice Hockey tournament in Vancouver. Some would argue that the games didn’t matter until this point, but those would probably be teams that didn’t win any games (Latvia, Norway) and didn’t have a bye to the next roun

With the 2010 Winter Olympics Men’s Hockey Tournament preliminary rounds finished, it is time we take a look at the standings and the overall larger playoff picture. There are a few surprises this year regarding the “Super Six” of Canada, Russia, Sweden, Finland, the USA, and the Czech Republic.
