Avs Drop Another Stinker

As much as fans would love to blame someone else for this game (refs), the Colorado Avalanche 5-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks sat squarely on the team’s shoulders. It still seems to be a matter of core fundamentals that are costing this team valuable points in a race for 8th place that is quickly becoming unbearably tight.
Avs Loss To Sharks Not As Bad As It Looks

Many look at the Colorado Avalanche’s record since the Olympic break and begin to despair. The fact that our beloved team has somehow fallen apart like everyone said it would weighs as heavy on the heart as the 6-8 record they’re boasting since March 1. Really it should even be 5-9 as they stole a shootout victory from the Los Angeles Kings. Counting that win, the Avs are 1-5 in their last 6 games. It is too important a time for this to be happening!
Avs Sign Goalie John Grahame – Wolski Shopped?
According to Twitter, obviously the most trustworthy news source of all (remember the Michael Jackson news broke there first… and so did the death of Jeff Goldblum, which never happened), 34 year old goaltender John Grahame has been signed the by Colorado Avalanche in the first of probably a few moves before the trade deadline.
Avs Fall to Stars in Dallas

From the drop of the first puck, this game was played on the toes of each of the players. Both the Colorado Avalanche and the Dallas Stars kept the pace up, played decent offense, and great defense. Though the Avs were looking for a win to tie Vancouver for 1st in the Northwest Division, the Stars learned a lesson from their last meeting in Colorado. Don’t give the Avs an inch. In this game they proved they learned that lesson.
