In case you hadn’t heard, Colorado Avalanche sensational “goalie-in-the-wings” Tyler Weiman signed with the Vancouver Canucks yesterday. While this may come as a surprise to many who imagined him the heir apparent to Colorado’s throne, that just didn’t seem like it would ever come to be.

Keith Ballard Traded To Cancuks

Our favorite opposing defensemen, now that Rob Blake has left us, has been traded to the Vancouver Canucks, meaning we’ll have to worry/wait for more BS antics.
Avalanche Blank Panthers 3-0

It was a great win for the Colorado Avalanche coming off a 6-4 loss to Vancouver on Tuesday. Craig Anderson got his 7th shutout of the season, tying goaltenders Tomas Vokoun, Ilya Bryzgalov, and Marty Brodeur for most shutouts of the season. Colorado Avalanche backup goaltender Peter Budaj will get his third consecutive start of the season tonight against the St. Louis Blues. Budaj has been filling in for Craig Anderson, who injured his neck after being run down by Keith “Cry Baby” Ballard in Florida. This game ends the Avs current 5 game road trip.
Avalanche 4-1 Loss to Penguins Deceptive

I’m just going to throw this out there: If anyone were to go to the NHL website, the headline “Pens Ice Avs” is a bit deceptive to those who won’t be reading the story. They’ll just think to themselves that the Avalanche are having another bad year and that the Pens had an easy time with the Burgundy Boys. Completely not true.
