The Chicago Blackhawks stormed through the 2009-10 NHL postseason, taking no prisoners and rightly proclaiming Lord Stanley’s Cup as their trophy. Then they went out and had to clean house, losing nearly half of the team that got them the championship. Nobody can blame the ‘Hawks for essentially buying themselves a cup. They did what they needed to have a team that could compete.

Game 4 Roster Update
It has already been a brutal Stanley Cup Playoffs for the Colorado Avalanche, who have seen key players drop like flies to various injuries. If you go back to the Peter Mueller injury, things have been pretty bad. So much so that Coach Sacco has been forced to perform a game 4 roster shuffle.
Mueller Still Out, Duchene Set To Return
While there hasn’t been much news on the recovery of outstanding Colorado Avalanche acquisition Peter Mueller, no news seems to be bad news, as Mueller is not traveling with the team for the first two games against the San Jose Sharks in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
History Will Be Made
So if you been watching any hockey lately, or even just television in general, you might have noticed the new ad campaign by the NHL -History Will Be Made. These are amazing, emotions commercials that should excite and inspire fans about the postseason. Ray Bourque was featured in one of these already and there is one for Patrick Roy on it’s way.
Yip-ee! Injury Update
The Colorado Avalanche themselves are reporting some potentially good news today regarding a smattering of injured players. While the time tables on returns is always a fluid date, good things should be falling into place here very soon.
McLeod, Salei Healthy
The Colorado Avalanche have reported that both Cody McLeod (leg) and Ruslan Salei (torso) have recovered from their injuries and will not only be with the team when it takes on the Anaheim Ducks Sunday night, but they will both be available to play as well.
