It’s that time, kiddos! Time to talk about who I think could possibly get traded, or who could draw a good trade. If you want to recap, here’s Part 1 and Part 2. Today we’ve got Part 3 – Attackers:
Chris Durno

The Avalanche pulled a win last night against the Coyotes out of their collective rear ends. It seems that Lady Luck didn’t bless the Boys tonight in Los Angeles against the Kings. With Adam Foote and Kyle Cumiskey out of commission, John Michael Liles and Ruslan Salei were in the lineup. I thought Salei did a pretty good job, but I found myself face-palming over Liles.
Many people have been wondering lately, with Colorado Avalanche Coach Joe Sacco scratching John-Michael Liles in 4 of the last 6 games, what are the Avalanche going to do with one of the highest paid players? Rumor has it that Liles has been shopped around, harshly placed on the trading block and then not even allowed to showcase himself.

The Colorado Avalanche face off at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight in the fourth meeting between the two teams this season. There are a few things going on with the team that are interesting to take note of.

Though the attendance at the Pepsi Center was around 12,000 at last night’s game, you wouldn’t have been able to tell if you could only hear the noise of the crowd. The Avalanche took on a hard team, the Nashville Predators, who came off a loss last night and were looking for a win. Pressure was applied equally by both teams and even though the Avs were short a few key players, they came out on top when the horn sounded.

Thats right, the Colorado Avalanche dropped their second straight game, this time to the Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes currently sit last in the entire (world) NHL with 31 points – 6 points behind the flailing Edmonton Oilers and 8 points behind the struggling Toronto Maple Leafs.
