Mueller Still Out, Duchene Set To Return
While there hasn’t been much news on the recovery of outstanding Colorado Avalanche acquisition Peter Mueller, no news seems to be bad news, as Mueller is not traveling with the team for the first two games against the San Jose Sharks in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Avs Drop Another Stinker In the Can

The Chicago Blackhawks came into Denver with the possibility of overtaking the San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference standings. A win for Colorado, icing on the cake. The Avs had some key players sitting out again tonight, among them Adam Foote and Milan Hejduk. Paul Stastny was back in the lineup after a night up, but his number of minutes was cut from normal.

On top of that, there was a lot riding on tonight’s game. If the Avalanche could pull a win over the ‘Nucks and the Flames lose against the Sharks tonight, the Burgundy Boys could clinch a playoff spot.
