Local Avs man Adrian Dater is reporting that John Michael Liles is back from his shoulder injury and will be playing in tonight’s game against the Sharks.
Liles had told me last week that he had little recovery time left, so this isn’t shocking by any means. Many believe our power play has suffered since his injury so it will be interesting to see if this is indeed the case.
Liles had been skating at practice for a while so he shouldn’t he behind. I’m interested to see how this changes the defensive dynamic. I predict Wilson to go down first.
** In another note, I’ve used my positive, upbeat headline to hide the fact that Galiardi will be out 4-6 weeks with his ankle injury. Phillipe Dupuis has been called up and T.J. Hensick will be in the line up tonight for the Burgundy Bunch.
