Olympic Break Musings

A quick hit on here today as I’m already (still) a day behind in our daily Olympic Recap (Day 1) (Day 2). I think my initial prediction may have been way off, but there is still plenty of time left to see what happens.

I was browsing the web and stumbled upon an article from fellow bloggers over at The Hockey Writers. It was a nice pre-season piece about what players do to stay in shape during the off season, offering a nice inside perspective into something most people don’t regularly think about. Upon reading this, I began to ponder what the Colorado Avalanche players not playing in the Olympics are doing during this two week break.

I know some guys are going to Mexico, and most are relaxing. But hopefully, some are taking the time to heal while maintaining their strict regimen so as not to be a step behind upon the restart of the season.

Another interesting read was from Paint It Blackhawks about ten questions they asked before the season started and where the team stands now. While you may not be interested unless you are a fan of the Hawks (I am!), it is interesting to reposition these questions to relate to the Avalanche. Go ahead, read the questions and ponder about them with an Avalanche spin to it. Comment on here about where you think we stand.
