Avs loss #2 – On That Note

Avs lose to Sharks on 10/30. On that note, it seems highly likely boss Sacco will start Budaj against former Avs half-tender (with better numbers I might add) Andrew Raycroft and his Vancouver Canucks.

It isn’t that Andy looked bad, but it’s about time for a rest, even for just one game. After facing as many shots as he’s seen lately, the guy is bound to be having nightmares about flying black biscuits.

And let’s face it, despite our streak and our ability to score somehow, the boys up front haven’t been playing an all around solid game. Clicking at times tonight, the offense was out worked by a hot San Jose.

It’s also time for the defense to get it done out there. Too many breakdowns and blown coverges are resulting in goals. When you clear an easy puck into your center, keeping the play in the zone, you’re doing something wrong… The boys need to step it up and what better time to do it than against the division rival Canucks.

Congrats on tying the most points in October! Now let’s proove the naysayers wrong.
